This wiki was originally set up for teachers of languages attending the NZALT ICT PD, 15-16 August 2008, at Riccarton High School in Christchurch. On Monday, 30 November 2009, we revisited this wiki to post files and share ideas from the NZALT ICT PD session held that day at U C Education Plus, cnr Solway Ave, Dovedale Ave, Ilam, ChCh.
It's a space for everyone to record notes and ideas of interest from the PD. Anyone is able to view this wiki. However, if you choose to become a member, you'll be able to edit a page and share your comments with us, to help build this space with helpful hints etc.
How do I edit a page?
If you've accepted membership, you can edit pages and make changes to what's there, if you sign in.
To sign in, go to the top right hand corner of the screen. Enter your username and password.
Then, if you want to edit a page, simply click on the 'edit this page' button and make your changes.
When you have finished, click on 'save'. It's as easy as that.
To set up your own wiki go to http://wikispaces.com/site/for/teachers100K to get one of the 100, 000 free wikispaces being offered to teachers without advertisements, before they're all gone.
For more information about wikis, see our wiki page (it's listed down the left-hand side column), or simply click on this link http://ictpdpractice.wikispaces.com/wikis and it will take you there directly.
